You guys have received a wonderful compliment, as well as an invitation, from Jan The Happy Homemaker.

Hey, your readers are so good at commenting on your blog! Where did you find such nice people?

Dear dogscatskidslife readers: please visit me, too! I could use some thoughtful readers like you!

Thanks guys.

You've all been so very kind.

The thing about readers is that they find the good bloggers! A commenter only comments on what's already there ... ;o)

Keep on blogging, TJ! :o)

Hello, back from the City.

My medicing was quite interesting.

What was scary ... was the number of correct decisions I made!! We had an RN on call 24 hours a day. We only had to call her 3 times, and all 3 times she agreed with my choices 100%. Yikes.

Usually, they send 4 to 8 kids to the ER during camp. We sent 1 kid under my care. Kids that other medics sent, I'd send back to their room with orders for ice, rest and watch ... and they'd be fine in 2 hours ... injuries that happened as a result of camp activities ... saved the camp insurance money not to mention the kids and anxiety.

It was just sooo wrong to be just a mom and know so much LOL

I did have a blast though, and I got to know so many more kids than I would have if I was just a counselor and writing teacher.

I may be back in the city in the next couple of weeks, a friends 17 month old baby is having a brain tumor removed at OU on Tuesday. Keep her in your prayers. We're all kind of devastated here.

Hey Moof...

Thanks for the encouragement.

Glad you're *alive* Peggikaye and that all of your *patients* survived too!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time.

I'll be praying for the baby. OU Medical is where I had surgery on my brain tumor too.

They'll be in good hands.
