Ice Storm 2007 Updated...

A gym roof at a private school has collapsed in Midwest City.

Other roofs and structures are in danger of collapsing as well under the weight of the ice.

Ice weighs so much more than snow.

Our trampoline looks like it is about to burst!

I'm not going to go out there and measure it, but looks like the bed of the trampoline is stretched downward about 2 feet in the middle.

That sure is a lot of icy mess! I hope you and your family stay warm and safe.

In your video, I loved hearing the kitty meowing! Was that your orange guy?

I can't begin to imagine how cold you must be feeling. It looks and sounds terrible. Indoors is the best/safest place to be.

Hi T.J.! Great video, that is exactly what it did over here. I'm not sure where in Oklahoma you are but we are central just 40 minutes sw of OKC. My front yard looks like a ice skate rink. It doen't even crunch down when you walk on it!

TJ,
Thinking of you and hoping you are safe, warm, and have power. Take care out there.

Hey Kate...

Oh how I wish that my trampoline was littered with oranges!

Hey Lea...

It was our other cat who is black and fat.

Hey Sue...

We are so fortunate here! It is much, much worse in other parts of the state.

Hey Squirrel...

We're in the northwest part of OKC. The ice is hard here too. Now I think I have an idea of what it is like to walk on a frozen tundra!

Hey Pattie...

We're warm and doing well.

Hey Peggikaye...

I was really concerned that your power had gone out over there! Glad you are ok!
